• Financial Information:Annual income range, net worth range, employment status, employer name, occupation, source of funds, and linked bank account details (routing number, account number, and account type).
• Transaction Data: Trade orders, portfolio holdings, transfers, and ledger entries.
• Device and Usage Data: IP address, device type, browser type, and Platform interaction data collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

• Open and maintain your brokerage account with Alpaca;
• Verify your identity and comply with KYC/AML requirements;
• Execute, clear, and settle securities transactions;
• Provide analytical tools, market data, and educational content;
• Process subscription payments and manage your Membership Plan;
• Communicate with you about your account and the Platform;
• Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or unauthorized activity;

• Alpaca Securities LLC: To open and service your brokerage account and execute trades.

• Legal Compliance: In response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes.

4. Data Security

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Brokerage account data held by Alpaca is additionally protected by SIPC coverage up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for cash), subject to the limitations set by SIPC.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and as necessary to comply with legal, regulatory, and tax record-keeping requirements. Brokerage records are typically retained for a minimum of six (6) years pursuant to SEC Rule 17a-4.

Subject to applicable law and GLBA exemptions, you may have the right to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information. To submit a request, contact us through the support channel available within the Platform. We will respond to your request within forty-five (45) days.
